Associate Professor in Environmental Science and leader of the Climate Leadership Research group at Uppsala University
Mikael Karlsson is Associate Professor in Environmental Science and leads the Climate Leadership Research group at Uppsala University. His research is based on transdisciplinary approaches to science-policy-public interactions and focuses on governance of climate change, biodiversity loss and marine pollution. He is a frequent expert in expert committees in Sweden and the European Commission and was previously President of the European Environmental Bureau and the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation.
