Head of Communications and Positioning at the Regieorgaan SIA in the Netherlands
Alex Verkade has been working to connect science and society for over 20 years. He has worked within secondary science education and science communication; science policy, the science museum sector and now works at the Dutch funding institution for applied science research. Earlier in 2023, together with Ionica Smeets, he wrote a report on the soon to be launched National Dutch Centre of Expertise on Science & Society.
