Julian Keimer is a philosopher, political scientist, and physicist by training. He worked in photovoltaics, comparative political science, counter-terrorism and citizen engagement, before joining his current team in the JRC. Since 2021, his work focuses on two main fields: values and identities, including how to make policymaking more receptive about citizens’ values and identities; and capacity building in evidence-informed policymaking for policymakers and researchers, especially competences and trainings.
