Max Dumoulin is Vice President of Portfolio Innovation at Elsevier in Amsterdam. He is responsible for the development of new services and offerings in collaboration with Elsevier’s academic customers. For some years he has been focusing on initiatives supporting Open Science, often in close collaboration with the academic institutions in his home country The Netherlands (epdos.nl). He works within the Research Products group comprising products and platforms such as, Pure, Scopus, SciVal and ScienceDirect. Max has extensive experience in product, marketing, sales and communications. He holds degrees in Business Administration and Philosophy.
